My son just crossed over from being a Cub Scout to a Boy Scout!

20-02-2010 the start of the clubbing season

Yesterday night was the re-opening of Shampoo for 2010, our favorite club! Super trendy, super small, super cool!!!! We only get to go inside cause of Super M, who is coincidentally super connected.

We had an amazing time-just the single ladies hehehe. Buenos Aires is renowned for its night scene so my friends and I, we are taking advantage of it :P

My second home in Baires

This is my second home here in Buenos Aires. I find it sooo beautiful and it is hard for me to leave when I go there...poor Super M, has to put up with me :)

The key ingredients to job hunting

These are my key ingredients to job hunting. My CV-full of all the things I have done that no cares to read.
A black serious handbag to exude confidence and have something to hold on to while walking towards interviewers so I can concentrate on something else besides Murphy's laws.
Keys to my house so I can return when I have not gotten a job to start once again the next day.
And most importantly, the Bible...cause I seriously need divine intervention in order to get a decent job in this economy!!!!!

The sun goes down on the other side of the window of my living room, we usually get to enjoy sun at dawn over the river.
That big building is known as the "pajarera" (aviary) because it is a very ugly building full of one bedroom and studio apartments. I do envy the spectacular view that some of them have though!

My Ivan is such a tenderheart. He was relaxing in the AM before we ditched them to go to school.

Kiley and Harley, however, were a playing away! Overall, not a great photo, but take a look at Harley's crazy eyes! I also included a better "photo" that captured the moment.

Today was Valentine's day?!?!?

Today my reading glasses and my laptop took me out for a date at the trendiest place in town: "the office".

Love triangles are my thing after all...

New bed, new dreams?

On Saturday I got a new bed!!! Now it is time to decorate, not my cup of tea, actually. Nesting is to me, the traveling little aunt who lives off of her suitcases- is a completely odd feeling.

Valentine's Day 2010

I had to take Maddy to take a photo of a sculpture in town today for an extra credit project for art. It was COLD and WINDY!!! But we had fun doing it. There were lots of dog photos today too...Johnny was also hamming it up for the camera...he kept saying...I better not find this on your blog...check out Picasa for the entire photo damage for today!!!! Teeheehee...So many photos to choose from each day, I am having a hard time deciding! Harley had such a wistful, dreamy look in her eye, I had to include that, and then Johnny was just such a dork!

This was an early morning (4 a.m.) photo. It appears that the subjects of the shot are my dogs...but that little tan blanket under them? That is my son. He had a friend spend the night and they fell asleep on the couches in the living room. I woke up at the ungodly hour of 4 a.m. and came upstairs and the dogs followed me. They cuddled up on top of him, as he was curled under the blanket, and went to sleep!
