On Saturday I got a new bed!!! Now it is time to decorate, not my cup of tea, actually. Nesting is to me, the traveling little aunt who lives off of her suitcases- is a completely odd feeling.
It IS heartbreaking...what about something silky in a rich purple or a deep jewel color? You can also (not sure if you can do this at your parents place or not) paint a headboard above your bed or even hang a really beautiful rug, screen, or silky tapestry that makes up your "headboard." You can even go to HGTV.com and type in headboard ideas and they are super cute!
Actually I have thought of creating my headboard.I want something fucsia or red-very classic yet modern...I need to go find out what is out there in terms of fabrics...cause I want one to be very paddy, nothing hard-been there done that!
I should add...I still have boxes lying around-what can I say? I cannot seem to settle down anywhere. Poor Danielle had to live with me and she knows what I am talking about.Thank you for putting up with me!!!!
Danielle would be the head of the decoration committee if it would not be for the 5773 miles. I can sense your heartbreak from here :P
